An examination of the textual composition of three bronze tabulae dedicated to vir clarissimus Lupicinus, governor of consular rank of the province “Senonia Maxima”, suggests that the three monuments should be considered as a single formal homage, and that between the second and third tabula the text ran continuously; the two words “hoc opus” extraneous to the metric, considered in literature to be an inexplicable interruption, would represent the identity signature of the “Aureliani”, who were concretely involved in the staging of the homage.

Abstract
An examination of the textual composition of three bronze tabulae dedicated to vir clarissimus Lupicinus, governor of consular rank of the province “Senonia Maxima”, suggests that the three monuments should be considered as a single formal homage, and that between the second and third tabula the text ran continuously; the two words “hoc opus” extraneous to the metric, considered in literature to be an inexplicable interruption, would represent the identity signature of the “Aureliani”, who were concretely involved in the staging of the homage.File in questo prodotto:
