Abstract
In the Capo Mortola Marine Protected Area (Western Ligurian Sea), the comparison of data collected along a historical depth transect surveyed in 1987 and later revisited in 2002 and 2024, allowed to assess the change in the health status of the P. oceanica meadow over time. A decline has been observed between 1987 and 2002, mainly due to the appearance of Caulerpa taxifolia (Vahl) C. Agardh, which has been known to spread along the western coast of Liguria since 1992.File in questo prodotto:
