The seaside coastline is analyzed to define socio-spatial dynamics and understand the elements that influence the inclusion of the person. The functions of the urban seascape have changed since the 18th century; for political and social reasons, it is, therefore, interesting to observe the main actors: women and people with disabilities (physical, sensory, temporary or permanent), who, have been subjected to society's decisions in the area of coastal management. The paper proposes a reflection on the configuration of accessible marine spaces to meet the needs of modern society, proposing a parallel between the tools designed to impose hidden access to the sea for women in the early days of bathing establishments, with those now employed to enable autonomous experiences in the water and on the beach for people with disabilities. Abstract
By following the guidance provided by theory based on various fields (disability studies, social law, psychology...), it is possible to identify a method for integrating land management tools, such as the Elimination of Architectural Barriers Plan (E.A.B.P.), thanks in part to the analysis of point solutions. Fundamental principles to be integrated into modern spatial configuration are contained in the representation, such as the scientific roots of the representation and configuration of machines in Renaissance geometry.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
