In recent years, environmental issues have catalyzed worldwide attention, raising the concept of environmental sustainability to the center of individual concerns. In order to create environmental awareness and simplify the design and manufacture of eco-friendly products, various ecodesign methods and tools have developed. Despite the exponential growth of this new design methodology, their integration into practice is still limited, mainly due to the complexity, time-consuming nature and demand for specialized skills. From this reflection, the question arises to devise a new proposal to facilitate involvement in effective environmental actions in an accessible and timely manner. Growing awareness regarding the limits of excessive and harmful consumerism, the global economic crisis, and serious issues related to natural resources and pollution have sparked a new ecological awareness in the field of design as well, with the help of digital tools as well. The design industry reevaluates design vis-à-vis products, fittings and materials. New market dynamics converted to the green economy, characterized by lowering environmental impact, require new skills from the designer with support from emerging digital tools. Therefore, there is an emerging need for innovative design of goods and services marked by sustainability, capable of producing without compromising, with a vision of a future in which such products will no longer be needed.

Abstract
Therefore, there is an emerging need for innovative design of goods and services marked by sustainability, capable of producing without compromising, with a vision of a future in which such products will no longer be needed.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
