Abstract
Octapod-shaped CoFe₂ O₄ nanoparticles were synthesised via thermal decomposition of metal acetylacetonates in the presence of sodium oleate and oleic acid.TEM confirmed their four-armed morphology and ~15 nm size. The particles showed a saturation magnetisation of ~70 emu/g.Magnetic properties were studied using SQUID magnetometry. While DC measurements revealed blocking temperature and interparticle interactions, AC measurementsprovided insight into magnetic relaxation dynamics and effective anisotropy. The results suggest that the octapod shape significantly influences the magnetic behaviourcompared to more conventional morphologies.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
