The relationship between the design system, traditional applied arts, and European cultural heritage is undergoing a clear transformation. Exhibitions, publications, and events from the past decade demonstrate how designers increasingly collaborate with fields that appear distant from their conventional domains of inquiry. Within a historical context in which digital transition intersects with a renewed interest in cultural heritage, numerous researchers and scholars have developed practices centred on rediscovering and reactivating local territories. The aim of this research is to position design as a catalyst for innovation and cultural exchange by proposing new processes built upon unprecedented networks and relational structures. Through this approach, an open-access database will be generated to collect, preserve, and disseminate the techniques and methods of local artisanal production.

Abstract
Through this approach, an open-access database will be generated to collect, preserve, and disseminate the techniques and methods of local artisanal production.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
