An improved Chebyshev spectral method for simulating atmospheric propagation under the assumption of Rayleigh scattering and parallel-plane stratified media is considered in this paper. The performance of the approach is assessed against publicly available tabulated data in the case of a molecular atmosphere, showing a very good agreement.

Abstract

An improved Chebyshev spectral method for simulating atmospheric propagation under the assumption of Rayleigh scattering and parallel-plane stratified media is considered in this paper.
