The study of port noise is essential to mitigate its impact on residents living near port areas, particularly in urban environments where maritime and urban activities intersect. This research, conducted as part of the European CLASTER project (Compatibility and Sustainability of Port Noise) under the Interreg Marittimo Italy-France Program 2021-2027, focuses on the identification of noise sources in the Port of La Spezia, Liguria, Italy. Measurements were carried out using an acoustic camera, a sophisticated instrument that enables precise detection and visualization of noise sources. The primary aim of this study was to identify the most suitable areas for the application of sound-absorbing asphalt, one of the key mitigation measures planned for the port. The findings contribute to the overall objectives of the CLASTER project by offering a practical methodology to address port noise issues and promoting sustainable development in port areas while improving the quality of life for nearby residents.

Abstract
The findings contribute to the overall objectives of the CLASTER project by offering a practical methodology to address port noise issues and promoting sustainable development in port areas while improving the quality of life for nearby residents.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
