School is a decisive educational environment for the person in the formative process. Faced with the supremacy of a teaching that feeds on innovative methodologies and techniques, focusing primarily on the educational relationship between teacher and student, the need to outline a pedagogy of “schooling” is urgent. In contemporary schools, we cannot neglect the effective relationship between teaching and pedagogy. At the roots of this relationship lies the attention to the formative care of the educant, in order for them to feel accepted as they are, not judged solely on their ability or achieved results. The pedagogical objectives of “schooling” are profiled in Westerners' history, through which ideas and theories have developed, leaving indelible marks regarding the learning paradigm as well.
