This paper takes as its starting point an analysis of the recent collection edited by Adriano Fabris, Heidegger. Una guida (Carocci, 2023). In reviewing this volume in detail, the paper offers a critical discussion of some key themes of Heidegger’s thought and considers some of the theoretical reasons that make his thought not only the object of continuous attention and contention but also capable of generating new interpretations.
