Disability and Social Participation: Challenges and Opportunities This article examines the issue of inclusion of people with disabilities starting from the autobiographical source of a young woman with Crouzon syndrome who shares her life experiences highlighting the difficulties she encounters on a daily basis due to her condition. The qualitative analysis of her narrative allowed the identification of four central categories (disability and social interactions - disability and bullying - disability and social networks - disability and social investments) which allowed the development of a research aimed at investigating the level of social inclusion in the Genoa area.
