Abstract
The re-examination of 14 tituli veleiati, already recorded in CIL, induces us to consider them as belonging to a common habitus, closely related to the dimensions of the counter of the aedes Augusti of the original Julio-Claudian statuary cycle, whose decoration would have been updated up to the Antonine age; the chronological horizon of the cult dedicated to the emperor in Veleia would then have extended up to the age of Claudius the Gothic, perhaps even occupying the spaces of the adjacent chalcidicum.File in questo prodotto:
