The article focuses on the legendary staging of Kätchen von Heilbronn by Heinrich von Kleist, a production commissioned to Ronconi by the city of Zurich for the summer of 1972. It was an extraordinary project in terms of staging and at the limits of feasibility (the sets were entrusted to the sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro), which was never staged in its completed form for safety reasons. Exploiting the documentation preserved in the archives, the article attempts to reconstruct the production process of the spectacle, focusing on the conception and tracing its organisational and stagecraft challenges.

Abstract
The article focuses on the legendary staging of Kätchen von Heilbronn by Heinrich von Kleist, a production commissioned to Ronconi by the city of Zurich for the summer of 1972. It was an extraordinary project in terms of staging and at the limits of feasibility (the sets were entrusted to the sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro), which was never staged in its completed form for safety reasons. Exploiting the documentation preserved in the archives, the article attempts to reconstruct the production process of the spectacle, focusing on the conception and tracing its organisational and stagecraft challenges.File in questo prodotto:
