This article examines the former “Nuova Direzione” office building of the Ferrania-3M industrial complex (Savona, Italy), a well-preserved example of 1950s office architecture. Through digital surveys, archival research, and energy performance analysis, the study explores the building’s reuse potential while respecting its historical, architectural and technological significance. A low-impact retrofit strategy is proposed, achieving up to 40% energy savings while preserving key original features such as Sculponia window systems and Palladiana flooring. This brief contribution highlights the importance of integrated and sustainable approaches to industrial heritage conservation.
