ReCitying & Empathi-cities: Interactive-cities, Shared eco-cities, verso nuovi scenari urbani multi-relazionali, reali e virtuali, sensuali e sensoriali (collettivi, connettivi e correttivi)

The digital/informational revolution produced between centuries has not only implied fundamental transformations in our technological tools and operating systems, but key changes in our intellectual, cultural, spatial (and ethical) approaches to our habi- tats understood as living and relationship environments. These transformations, as will be seen in this text, call for multiple and multiplied levels of interaction (networked), between citizens and citizenships (Citi-zens & City- sens), but also between spaces and spatialities: dynamics capable of generating more responsible and responsive answers in our environments, generated through overlap- ping, diverse multi-processes that invoke new explorations perspectives but also a new, more hybrid and innovative vocabulary - not without neologisms and adjectives - capable of suggesting the complex, multilevel definition, of the new n-City. Processes of urban interaction but, also, of option-decision associated with a new Conceptual Intelligence and a new Artificial Intelligence, requiring new AST-ethical approaches (AST: Adaptative Self-Skills-Transfers) generated between the synthetic ability to organize (and/or program) and the specific ability to adapt. A new logic - or intelligence - augmented by the new informational potentials between matter, agents, environments and media (an Inter-diligence). An inter-acting will to act, to inter-act: “operational” defined through actions/operations, strategic (tenden- tial) and tactical (intentional) at the same time (Oper-actions). Among all the issues that convene dynamics of urban reformulation (ReCitying), the notions of SynergiCities and EmpathiCities emerge and, in particular, of Interac- tive-Cities and e-Co-cities (and evidently n-Cities) as cross-cutting terms and neolo- gisms that are the subject of this text.
