The spectrum of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) refers to a broad range of consequences resulting from alcohol exposure during intrauterine life. Recent studies confirm its incidence among adopted children, yet the well-being of adoptive mothers remains unexplored. This present study, employing an online questionnaire completed by 44 adoptive mothers of children with FASD aged from 8 to 27 years old, investigates the association between parental stress, support from partners and friends, and subjective well-being. Findings indicate that parental stress is negatively associated with emotional well-being, partner support serves as a protective factor for psychological well-being, and friend support for social well-being.
