Simmel and the Möbius Strip

Starting from the volume entitled "Return to Simmel," the paper proposes a critical analysis of the German sociologist's reception. In particular, with an emphasis on Simmel's disorganized and jagged legacy, it aims to fix some points of gravity within his production that can constitute guidelines for future studies, while trying to avoid hermeneutical misunderstandings and overly heterodox readings. The path of analysis is carried out by proposing a similarity between Simmel's production and the particular geometric form of the Möbius Strip
