Abstract

The correspondence between Carmen Conde and Ernestina de Champourcin shows how autobiographical writing becomes an act of personal affirmation and collective resistance. Through letters, diaries and memoirs, they weave a transnational intellectual and affective network that reclaims women’s voices in a context of exile and repression. In this way, the intimate turns into historical testimony, and life writing into a space of sisterhood, memory and commitment.
