La Filosofia dell’Educazione in Paul Ricœur, tra Semiotica ed Ermeneutica

Moving from the biography of Paul Ricœur, which highlights the ethical and political implications of his reflective philosophy, this article concentrates on the interpretation and symbol in the author’s thought, in relation to Philosophy, Hermeneutics and Pedagogy. Finally, the article focuses on the fertile dialectic between hermeneutics and semiotics, arguing that it is primarily in the relationship between the multiplicity of meanings expressed by culture and the formal structures of narration that the possibility of understanding — and, consequently, the formation of the self — opens up for the human being.

A muovere dalla biografia di Paul Ricœur, da cui emergono le implicazioni etico-politiche della sua filosofia riflessiva, l’articolo si concentra sull’interpretazione e sul simbolo tra Filosofia, Ermeneutica e Pedagogia nel pensiero dell’autore. Infine, focalizza la fertile dialettica fra Ermeneutica e Semiotica, poiché è anzitutto nel rapporto tra la molteplicità dei significati espressi dalla cultura e le strutture formali della narrazione che s’apre per l’essere umano la possibilità della comprensione e, con essa, della formazione di sé.
