In this essay, the author analyses Judgment no. 3 of 2025 delivered by the Constitutional Court, underscoring its innovative contribution to the expansion of political participation, with particular attention to the role of new technologies – including at the regional level – in both e-government and e-democracy. At the heart of the Court’s reasoning lies a thorough examination of the meaning and scope of the technologically mediated «possibility » of signing candidate lists. The contribution argues that, starting from this thematic nucleus, the Court not only reaffirms its established case law but also significantly advances it, providing a detailed and forward-looking rationale that extends beyond the specific case and outlines a constitutionally oriented trajectory for the future.
