This note focuses on a textual problem in P. Vindob. gr. 29788, fr. 3 Livrea = APHex I 45, 3 Perale, attributed to Pamprepius of Panopolis, and proposes a reading of v. 79 which seems in line with the style of the other verses, marked by antithesis and parallelism. The impressive stylistic elaboration of the poem is thus confirmed.
