In order to improve the accessibility of the ancient Genoese public records, starting from a document of 1766, the article outlines the plan of the staff employed by twenty-five magistrates operating in the aristocratic Republic of Genoa, to describe how the skills them attributed are converted into administrative activities and in record’s production.
