They are aimed at improving interaction and engagement in a Digital Learning Environment (DLE). These suggestions can help improve classroom-based, online, blended and hybrid education. The practical indications are conceived for a Moodle-based Learning Management System. Moodle has been chosen since it is free, open source and highly used in European higher education institutions. However, similar functionalities are also available in other Learning Management Systems.
